Cannot Find A Valid Instance Of WoW

Having this problem again where HB says it cannot find a valid instance of wow to attach it to, iv reinstalled HB and tried running everything in admin mode but still no luck. Any other suggestions?
 
1) thoroughly read the guide
2) if you still have issues - attach a screen shot and a log.txt
 
make sure that your are logged in the game world before running Hb

make sure that your Hb is on dx9(wow settings)
 
I am having the same issues. I am logged into wow and my character is loaded and wow is set to dx9. Start up the bot and I get this.

Logging in...

You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to!
Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with!
This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #14545
You are currently on build #0

**Thats what I am using. Downloaded again to retry and still the same issue. Should I try a fresh install?** Fixed

Did it a 4th time and now it works. I must've been doing something wrong still don't know what but thanks for the help

This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #14545

after a clean Hb 5445 installation
 
I evidently wasn't doing something right as I said on the 4th attempt it worked. Probably something stupid like not clicking to replace files or something. It's working just fine now :)
 
I'm actually getting the EXACT same message. Number and all.

It's been working this whole time and randomly does it? I've been gone for 2 days so I haven't done anything. Not like I changed the settings.
 
Download the new HB test version from the downloads link at the top.
Don't Unzip it over your old HB folder (the most common n00b mistake)
After starting new HB don't click the update, as it is actually pushing the old version, even though it is useless. (good job buddy team)
 
No. The files should be fine. You can actually have a folder outside of you Hb folder for all of them.
 
was working fine last night and now today im geting the same msg as OP and i have the latest version
 
Run both WoW and the bot in Adminstrator Mode if you are on Windhoos Viesja or Windhoos Never (vista or 7).
If you already do this, please attach the log so we can see what's up.
