Can you use GB and HB at the same time?

Hey, i brought HB 5 sessions, and already have payed for GB, just brought the GB 30+ day, but when i had 2 HB sessions running it wouldnt let me use GB, although when i shut the 2 HB sessions off GB worked, is this who its ment to work? :s
