Can you get Banned while Watching?

Hey

Maybe a newb question but I'm usually around my bot while it's turned on. Doesn't blizzard always whisper you before initiating a ban or do they just throw a ban?

In other words, if I turned a bot on and watched it while it was on, is there still a chance to get banned?

Well I know you're not allowed to bot. What I meant was like do they always send a message before banning? because if they do I wouldnt get banned because i would be here to respond.

No buddy I have had an account suspended before while i was playing it. i just got d/c then not alowed to log in

They send email about 5 mins after.

I got the account back as they did it before i started botting

To be fair though it's much much less likely if you're watching it. Even less likely if you're using lazyraider or raidbot to control the bot yourself.

If all you did was use Combat Bot/Raid Bot, and controlled all movement and everything else then your chances of being banned are basically nothing.
The more of the actions you do the better chance you have.
