lets say i am playing WoW legitly, no bots for WoW, but i have lets say, pokefarmer running in the background, can WoW detect that and ban me even tho its not a wow bot?

why should they ban you for this? I don't get it.
the pokefarmer bot does not inject to wow and does not touch anything around wow so why do you think blizzard would ban you for this?

YES, if you drive to fast on the street they will ban your wow account too ^^

What if I have a pirated version of the Warcraft movie on my hard drive? Can WoW detect that and sue me for my house?

No of course.

You will get to jail directly, plus all your family members, who watched the pirate movie, including the cat, dog and the birdie!

thing is, they dont need any evidence. If they coffee is too hot they can simply hammer some accounts out of the blue.

unlikely to happen, but "legally" (yes!) they have the right to.

Actually, Legally, the answer is no, because the only way to detect something that isn't attaching to wow would be by scanning outside of WoW's memory, which they can't do for privacy reasons.

I think that applies only for Europe players (different laws).
