Can we get an ETA on the new dungeon DB?

It has been said it was days away a week away. I would like to know how long should we wait.

Some of us have stopped botting completely and are waiting for that dungeon version.

Came here to say this. Just because you threw some fiat currency at these guys doesn't mean its coming out faster. The only way you'll see it earlier is if you contribute to the scripting and help it get done faster. I don't know if any of it is open source but I did see one on here awhile back that had a lot of automation for a full Act 1 clear minus the random dungeons.
 
Its not open source. I also agree with 130n, and you guys should drop the shield guard and dont be offended by a simple question. Its a retard thing to say "its ready when its ready", sounds like something that my 5 year old kid would say.

Some of us, who didnt get caught in the banwave or those that did, are waiting for something more than short scripts made by ourselves. Kane abandoned agb because he was feeling he was putting more work into it than the developers themselves.

I also reinforce OP question. When should we expect to have something ready to use regarding Random Dungeons?
 
They've said ~they don't want to nailed down on any sort of date because of what the usual community does when that minute comes; and nothing is delivered.
Ive seen this, and honestly probably contributed to a rant thread about empty promises. This isnt right.
Had to take a step back, realize they are not a huge company, and this is the best thing out there. My options are limited.

Though, i see both sides of the argument.

DB's choice to have a close relationship with its' community is what i always read about; and experienced through past events and updates (legal matters, for instance)
IMHO, lately this has been sparse. Very few updates every couple of days that give just enough info to keep the falling community interested.

I'm sure they have their reasons they are not fully announcing; though i am VERY curious too.
 
I'd certainly be content with "sometime next week". Which gives them a full week.
Or at the very least "sometime within the next two weeks".

It kind of sucks waiting for something that you have absolutely zero clue when it might arrive.
Especially how dead it all seems at this moment.

there is alternatives to sark that work very well and can be done in the time of waiting, there isnt a reason for a complete shut down on your end just a readjustment to what your doing, and if you think the release will fix this all your in for some trouble, mostly rand dungs will be good for leveling and farming items, most of which people are waiting to farm, there is farming alternatives that work great still, the rand dung will just be a improved version that allows more to be done is all .

it will be done when it is done is actually the correct way to build software. internally they should have milestone dates, but internally they also know that something almost always goes wrong. ALWAYS

what we try to do is make realistic estimate and then double it. so if they think 1month they should say 2 months etc etc just ask Scotty

Sure and then you deliver or customers beat you with sticks, thats how its supposed to be.
 
I dont want an exact date but wish we could get some news about the advancement tho...

i just wish they could keep us posted, i dnt even see mods on these forums lately, same with blizz... perhaps theyre working together?!?!?!?!
 
or perhaps they are ... working on getting it ready so that it will be out ? every time devs have to answer your question of "when will it be out" when its has previously been stated "In a few days hopefully just finishing touches" ... it deviates time away from it, whats so hard about that? if you work 8 hours a day and spend 2 of those answering forums questions in a week... thats 10 hours wasted not in production but explanation of why production isnt happening, when the very thing stopping it is the fact they are spending time explaining ?

I honestly and content with what the devs said, I am stoked that they even allowed the info to get out that they are looking to release it? I mean shit they coulda just NOT told anyone until the release?
 
Maybe they should hire more quality people to become public mods on this forum, it would help a lot =)
