Hello all, I am recently starting to expand my botting network and was looking into getting a few of these laptops since they are really cheap.

Toshiba Satellite 15.6" Laptop Intel Celeron 4GB Memory 500GB Hard Drive C55-B5300 - Best Buy

they are only around 200USD where I live and was wondering if this laptop could run 4 bots using programs that drop the mem usage to around 70-100mb each.

Note this will be a 100% dedicated PC for botting so I don't really care about super high fps or anything else

Lol put all settings on low to maximize quality. I've ran 4 on a older computer. You should be good as long as you have 5 keys :)

Hey, thanks for the response. Mind telling me the cpu and amount of ram you had in your old computer?

you're going to want to invest in more ram. 4 bots is hard w/o at least 8gb ram (due to other crap that windows likes to use along side it, sadly)

Seems kind of silly to me. The one thing working in favor of the idea is that it saves room. Close the lid and then you have a small plugged in notebook that takes up very little space.

Why not? I see overheating as one of the main problems. CPU overheats -> Thermal shut-down -> Reboot. Cheap laptops have integrated graphics that overheat easily and cause CPU to bog down because the heat gets trapped inside the body of the laptop. Also, cheap laptops in general use a heat sink with no fan on the processor. It might be possible to do this and go back to retrograde windows xp/win 7 and then go to barebones system services/disable rendering on all WOW processes.

Good luck.
