Hey gang! So I've been gone for I don't know how long, but within that time frame, it seems a lot has changed and I'm quite confused about it.

What I partially know is that there was a massive ban wave (supposedly), what happened there?

I noticed that all free routines in the buddy store were removed (or at least most of them), why?

I see something about arenas/bgs being removed? What's the problem with that?

Can anyone feel me in on everything that's happened???

Yes, there was a ban wave. That's basically what happened there.

HB changed their policy on Free products in the store. Basically, if there is a paid counterpart, the free version got removed as it is considered "abusing the customer" (source).

I see something about arenas/bgs being removed? What's the problem with that?

Correct, Arenas have been removed from working within the core software. They were never officially supported, and now HB is ensuring that they aren't.
