Can someone help me with boting?

Hi, I am looking to bot for my guild but im not sure if its that safe? witch one is safer to use gatherbuddy 2 or 1? whats the difference? Is it possible that you will automatically get banned without a person reporting or a gm being involved? I have decided that im not scared to lose my account, only if the chance of being banned is small? Will getherbuddy update to MoP? Does it inject anything into your WoW folder?
