I think I already know the answer to this question but because I didn't find any other feedback on the forums I still wanted to ask you guys your thoughts on this question.

I would like to join my bots game with my main account because it seems efficient for XP/key farming.
Is it risky for getting noticed/banned by blizzard?

And while we're on the subject;
The way I am transferring items from my botting account to my main account is joining the game and dropping on the ground, picking up, etc.
Is this the best way, are there other ways except selling on AH and loosing 15%?

I'm only botting to spice up my main account not for making money off of it and only been doing it a few weeks so any help is appreciated.

Thnx heeps for all feedback!

Personally I won't open my main account if demonbuddy is open. Its running in your task manager and your opening you account with a known violation program running in the same task manager. Maybe its nothing.. Just my opinion. I close everything down. Check task manager that nothing is running. Then open my main and a bot account that I had previously put all the other bots items onto. Trade my main the gold and items then shut it all down. Fire up the 6 bots. Repeat.

I also run a separate folder and separate shortcut to each copy of diablo 3. My main uses Diablo 3-A only. Bots use there own b,c,d,e,f,g. I check my d3pref folder also to make sure there isn't separate d3pref files. Cause when I use ISboxer it creates a d3pref for each account. I believe it does this because your running the diablos from 1 copy not multiple. I feel this unsafe. same with people botting without separate installs. You run one install your running all your chars with separate d3pref files.

maybe I am paranoid and wasting my time. But its how I try to keep my system :-/

Thnx for the elaborate explication.
I forgot to specify that I indeed run the bot on a different computer so IP wise, it should be good.
Although I think because it is in the same network, I guess they can always find out...

I'm only running 1 bot to spice up my main account, not for the money or anything else.
Because of legendary's dropping like candy and the AH being what it is I guess, even if I would like to make some cash, it would'nt be the best game to do it with...?

There isn't real money to be made I would say. I sold gold one time to a website 1 billion for 13 bucks. I run 4x bots 2 mill per hour gold drop + unids maybe another 4m, So say 6mill per hour. 166 hours or 7 days running 4x bots to make 13 bucks. Not worth it.

I didn't pay for keys though. Bought the games and returned them saying unopen. :-/
