I was thinking about this for quite a long. As you all know, when you get banned you can say bye to the game time you've paid. I think it's not fair and it's against the law.
It's a common fact that a b.net account is Blizzard's property and Blizzard can do with it whatever it wants but the pre-paid game time isn't Blizzard's property. When you pay for any services (WoW, TV, Internet etc.) you should get what you've paid for. When one side of agreement wants to terminate it, this side must pay the other side damages and it's the only way of termination. When Blizzard bans you it doesn't pay any damages.
Blizzard writes in it's agreement that you may not pretend on any refund in case of ban but no EULA can override the law. Also, I think Blizzard should detach all game codes you've attached to your b.net account and unable to use due to ban so you can attach them to a new account. You have paid for the game (Classic+BC+WotLK+Cata+Mists) and Blizzard cannot take them away from you. When you get a driving ban you still can sell your car and what's the difference with WoW?
Are you aware of any precedents when a player managed to get refund?
