Hello Everyone!

I tried searching in the forums for this question but couldn't find anything. It may have been asked but I'll just ask it again. Can I delete the Inspector Reporter Folder in my diablo3 folder? I don't want any errors sent back to blizzard so they can flag me and I can get banned from it. Any help on this would be appreciated!

Thanks!

just disable the error reporter through you advanced windows firewall settings (or whatever you use). It's on the forums here have a look around. If you can't find it PM me and I'll help you.

There is one located in the hidden programdata folder as well.

Delete it and never go back!! I deleted mine after Dec. 18th banwave. No problems yet.

Thank you Orlouge for the links, CEM and everyone else for their info, I appreciate it.

I went ahead and blocked the exe file using the outbound rules in the advanced firewall windows 7 options.

Just curious? Is better to block the exe or delete all together? Seems like some people are ok with deleting it....and wouldn't that be better than just blocking?

It's much of a muchness.. Both could be found by Blizzard but both prove nothing. At least with blocking you know that file from that directory wont work. I'd assume Blizz could sneak the folder back without you noticing in a big content patch?

As far as I know each patch reinstalls the reporter since it scans for files that need to be updated or are missing (1.0.6a installed it again)
