Hey, I've been a member of these forums using this bot since December 2012. There's been many good times with HB, but I was caught in both the May and December ban waves. Since I've made a new account, leveled a new main - entirely by hand - and not once used HB on that account, can I still be banned? I ask because I want to use another separate Battle.net account with RAF to suicide HB (dungeonbuddy for leveling) alongside manually playing my main (non-bot) account. Can the main non-HB account be banned by association, ex. same PC, IP, etc? Does anyone have anecdotal or relevant evidence? I've tried looking through ban section posts, but most are trivially detailed and very confusing. People either failed to learn English, or know it and choose instead to provide little information of pertinence.

Basically, one non-HB account (main) and one HB account (RAF). RAF account is run on same PC with dungeonbuddy - can non-HB account be banned? Has anyone experienced this?

I've seen where people say they will, and where people say they won't.

I personally bot on a second computer in my house, and play on my main computer.
And I've never got a ban on my main accounts from this.

Taken directly from the "Is it safe to bot?" wiki page:

"Can my 'main' (non-botted) account get banned, if I run a 'bot' account?

Yes... if the bot account gets caught, and the non-botted account has benefited in any way from the bot account (gold, items, materials, guild perks or resources, RaF-linking a botted and a non-botted account, transferring characters from a botted account to a non-botted account, etc), the non-botted account may be penalized also.

And No... generally, the non-botted account won't get banned just because there was a bot coming from the same IP. The exception is if you are running a bot farm (say 10+ bots), Bliz may have just had enough of you, and ban them all. Farmers/gold sellers easily make up the bulk of our ban reports, and this happens to them frequently. But they are 'commercial/power' botters, and not casual botters. For them, this is simply a cost of doing business.
And "no", there is no way to make your non-botted account guaranteed safe if you bot. But, if you bot smart, this should never be an issue."
