Can Honorbuddy be detected?

I remember back in vanilla, sometimes you heard of these "banwaves" for glider. Basicually all that used glider got banned ( i belive atleast). I haven't heard of anything similiar happening to Honorbuddy, why is that? Did glider inject memory which HB does not? Or wut
