Hi, I asked this question before but my thread got deleted for "trolling" for some reason.
I'm wondering if blizzard can directly detect the usage of v p n or if they detect it by the ip addresses they use.
I have many v p ns prepared that I created using v p s servers I rented, so they have unique ip addresses never used.
Half of what I read about v p ns is that it's bad and will get you banned (usually for no stated reason).
The other half of what I read is that v p ns are the best protection "bla" "bla" "bla"

So does anyone know if V P Ns are bad by nature or if I'm safe using a self-made V P S V P N?

Trolls delete you because the "VPN" THING have censored in this forum;)! (And yes, blizzard detect VPN and flag you when sell gold or have multiple wow in the same PC, MAC ADRESS, INSTALL WOW)

( More of 15+ BANS; in the moment unbeaten for 5 month in 9 acc )

VPS maybe its more secure but The house always wins.

Yes it can be easly detect. Deep packet inspection is one of those methods.
Mac address you can change on the fly.

Best Regards

You can use v p n...only the wrong vpns can be detect. real v p n are not detectable...

Not sure what you mean by wrong and real v p ns

There are good providers and bad providers. The good ones don't use a very limited and therefore known ip range, instead they use own software and infrastructure. They encrypt OpenVPN packet meta data and therefore survive a deep packet inspection (DPI).

So where does that put me? I just installed openv p n on a v p s from weloveservers.
I asked support and they already said my ip addresses are new and unused

Just using v p n doesn't mean people don't know you are using v p n. As stated above, if the data itself isn't encrypted, a deep packet inspection can for example detect the ssl encryption your OpenVPN connection is using and bam you are flagged as vpn user.

This thread makes me lol all I can say it why would we tell you our secrets. Someone is partly right in here and someone wrong. ..

Love you

okay to sum it up:

- usage of v p n makes no sense if you don't change hwid/mac. That's like changing the color of the car but still using the same plates
- usage of "basic" or free v p n makes no sense, if it is detectable as a v p n.
- usage of v p n doesn't decrease your chance of getting banned, if:
- accounts are related (name, payment)
- account/s is/are used for heavy gold transfers to same characters all the time
- botting too long/high populated areas

If you are not ip-flagged by blizz, there is no need for it, my opinion.

+1 :) well said and very true. There is a lot more to just botting and to botting safe

I always say this about V P N and Virtual Machines.......

If you are asking how to do it here, you probably don't know enough to build it safely and keep it that way.

Yeah but this is the typical behavior of people. They don't want to spend time. Since botting is more or less a 1-click setup, people take this attitude towards everything.
They get in contact with a thread of people talking about v p n and think they need it too, without even knowing what it is and what it does. Then they google 5 minutes and download something (best case from links under youtube videos -_-) and wonder why they are banned/hacked days later or their computer is suddenly slow...
