Can Blizzard be sure you are botting?

I was suspended for 72 hours and just got my account back. I'm in a dilema if I keep botting or not, but my doubt is: Can Blizzard be sure I am botting?

I have 2 PCs, and if i leave the account botting while I supervise 100% of the time, can they be sure i'm using a bot by acessing the memory of my PC or something?

So even if i just got suspended there are no big risks on botting while supervising right? What do you think? =p

did you fight the suspension? if not and you end up having the same behavior, they have reason to believe you are still botting and you will end up getting the perma ban. if you fought and you continue the same behavior while monitoring, then it will be much harder for them, seeing as how you will be at your pc and can immediately respond.

Actually I didn?t.. Someone in the forum gave the idea of not fighting cause if I do they could actually investigate my account and conclude I was really botting ;/

What should I do now once I didn?t fight the suspension? Maybe lay low for a while? Or bot while supervising so if they ban me or something I can give an immediate response?

I always fight it, what you could do is email them and say you just got back from a trip. My thinking is any WoW player would be PISSED if their account was locked for even 10 mins. I have had my botting account suspended 6 times in one week. (72 hours) Fought them all, and my account was always botted on.

Yeah imo you ALWAYS fight it. Otherwise you are conceding what they did to be true. I got a 72h suspension, fought it, and had my account restored immediately. Have been botting since with no issues.

I doubt it, that happened in June and I have been going hard core since on my farming account, about 12-20 hours per day and about 500+ auctions each day.

Well botting is always a risk assessment. The the more attention your account gets, The greater the risk is off your account being banned
So my tip is to always stay safe. Never bot more then 24 hours. Never have un-human amounts of mats on the ah

Your keeping yourself in the limits 12-20 hours 500+ auctions a day. I mean a human can most certainly do that.
It's just going over that 24+ hours that's dangerous. No normal human being can stay up for like 3 days. and it's prohibited to let anyone else play on your account
So my theori is that over 24 hours online you get flagged for monitoring and the same after a ban.
Just because you get flagged dosent mean you will get banned again. It's just your account getting more attention on it

I wouldn't really call this true, if I went in and modified all the memory in WoW without any sort of cleaning up I'm sure their anti-cheat (Warden I believe it's called?) would ban me.

Yeah, but he isnt asking that he is asking if they can detect the bot, not to mention it primarily works with a black list.

Blizzard doesn't need to "know" that you are botting. The Terms of Use that we all have agreed to include language that states that Blizzard can ban your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notification. If they think you are botting they can ban you. They don't have to be 100% sure.

But, they obviously want to be close to 100% sure else they lose $$.

All they have to do is watch you for a bit.

Even with GB2's new awesome landing/take off system, they can still tell you're botting if they keep observing you.
There's nothing the bot can do to fool a trained eye. The only thing it can do is be as natural as possible as to not attract reports from people around it.

If blizzard watches you, there's nothing that's gonna stop them from banning you. Guaranteed.

I just moved money from one of my accounts to another through the neutral AH. Both accounts are over 5 years old. Both accounts are registered in my real name and address. Both accounts are set up on my debit card. However, both accounts were banned for "trading in game items for real world currency." Doesn't sound like they check but so hard. I was able to get them back but it still shows that they are pulling the initial trigger without a whole lot of thought.

I remember botting with Pirox 4 months straight using 2 different accounts having the same exact name on high pop server. For 20 hours non stop. Believe it or not the only time it stopped was during server reset. Too bad I reformatted my hard drive so I do not have the screenshots. But Pirox does have all the info recorded. I did not receive any suspensions or Gm whispers. But holy hell I received whispers from gamers saying things like....this is getting annoying already, get your own f*****g node, just so you know some of us reported you, so what program you use to fly all day?, hey can I buy gold from you? My point is that the system is very unpredictable looking to lock botters temporary. Some people get locked for botting 5 hours while other do not get locked for botting 20 hours.

Well this is mostly not true due to the way ppl have been using the AH for years buying lots of mats and holding til the price rises. so the amount of mats u hav on the AH i will say is not the reason u get caught.....

I have been flipping items on the AH for years and never get any form of suspension or ban

Flipping items and selling on the AH is one thing... I've sold over 200 items on the AH in a day using manual and semi-manual (TSM) methods and have never been questioned... but when a person drops 25-50 undercut stacks of a single ore or herb multiple times a day for multiple days, they are asking for reports from other players.

Well most ppl in this case me buy items on a very low price for then reselling it when the prices are really high theni can undercut really much and sell fast and still get a good profit this takes much time thought.....
