Can a main account be banned

Can a main account be banned if it is not botted while there are other account on the same ip that are botted?

Thank you for answering this question, I'm trying to find out if having a vpn is really worth it.. I got 2 account banned in 3 days with a paid vpn

it is very possible, but if it is 1 single account botting, it is unlikely. i've botted on my main for so long, and the only time i got banned was when the other bot, "exiled-bot" (i used it during the long down time) screwed up and made me run back and forth in town.
