We've getting a lot of Cache related issues over at the support channel of discord. So I had an idea. And thanks to EchoTiger and Pook this was created! All credit goes to them!

This plugin clears WoW/HB cache! That's all. It should clear up most issues relating to HB delaying during startup. Should clear up most hook or basic bot issues.

For WoW cache to be cleared, wow does have to be closed. So if you want it to clear WoW Cache.. Stop the bot with the Start/Stop button, then exit WoW. Once wow is fully closed, exit out of HB and it will auto clear both WoW and HB caches. If you don't care about WoW caches at the moment, feel free to leave WoW open and close the bot itself. The plugin will clear HB cache and not WoW at that point.

Installation! place the file inside of a folder in your plugins! --> Untitled.png

MAKE SURE THE PLUGIN IS CHECKED!

I dont understand the point of this. I thought most people having issues with cache cant attach their HB to wow. And if you cant do that, you cant even make use of the plugins of the bot.

Cache issues don't cause attach errors. They never have.
A cache for Honorbuddy is a collection of saved data read from WoW's API that way there's less calls made to the API.

From there, we can monitor for event fires to tell if the cache needs to be updated.

Often, caches can become corrupted. This mostly happens when a cache is saved, but there's no event firing to update it.
So a plugin like this is very handy for some users in which cache corruptions are an issue.

thanks for clarifying, makes sense now.

Wonderful idea, thank you for putting this into a plugin.

Just an idea:
What about closing WoW from within this plugin and closing HB as well? If you are using HBRelog WoW and HB will be started again with a clean HB cache.

seems like a good idea in theory, but could be bulky and extensive for a mere plugin. . Could just program HBRelog to kill wow before HB closes, perhaps. If you can get a hold of them.

Are you on the discord by chance?
