BW will not load - crashes at key entry screen

Hi. I need a spot of help here. I've used BW before, but is has been about 6 months or so since last I used it.
I got a key and downloaded the latest version earlier today. Unzipped it to the same folder from which I used to run it.
Also downloaded the latest update for .NET - 4.5.3 i think?

Sadly, I can't get BW to boot up. Whether I run it as an admin or not, it gets no further than the key entry screen. I can't even click in the key entry input box.
I'd really like to have the bot running again. If I can't get it to, I'll have to try and get a refund for my key. :/

i have this same. i entered my key yesterday but i have not been able to on to it and use it

I figured this out.
Download the buddywing wizard and run it. It updates C++

I was able to load the bot just fine after that.
