Hey,

On my last purchase on Buddy Store I was able to pay using paypal, but now there's only the option to add a credit card, is the paypal option gone for good?

paypal is ass.

if they have truly deleted its use from the store, its for the better.

I really don't feel like entering my CC info on every site that asks for it.

idk about the other sites, but as it has to do with us you are not entering your info on any of our databases
thats why we are using the most known payment providers/gateways

but paypal is good to have anyways

paypal is a popular way to 'anonymously' pay for goods and services and like Tony says, it is handy to have a paypal account. however, if you deal with paypal for any amount of time, they will dry fuck you in your cornhole. its just a matter of time. they have a policy of 'the purchaser is always right' that really screws a lot of vendors who rely on them when there is no other option.

for example. i go to a website, purchase a shit ton of whatever with my paypal. receive my merch and then open a ticket. i get my money back while the vendor is tasked with proving i actually received the merch. which is pretty much impossible without standing outside my house with a camera recording me picking up the merch from the UPS guy.

ofc this is all hypothetical, i dont condone ripping off anyone on the internet.

but ask the buddystore why their return policy is so strict.

Same problem here, about when is it expected to be back?

And on the side note, I agree with you frosticus, selling gold to an unknown person with Paypal is practically giving away money if the buyer just decides to click refound button. So sad.

I have the same problem.
Can we know when it can be ok to pay with paypal or normal cards?

Hello yes same problem i was to buy 2 profile but cant use paypal.

any update for when back paypal on buddystore?

thanks

Without paypal there is no way to buy for me profiles... Hope it's back soon.

i am confused you all dont have prepaid visas, or MasterCard where you are located?you cant order them online and use the number? ill have to look but i used to use a sight that accepted paypal to purchase prepaid debit cards, the ni used those to purchase from non paypal sites. Or get a paypal prepaid debit. You can refill it at any money graham. asnd your supposed to be able to refill it with your paypal (through netsend)as well. Or you can get one that is actually attaached to your paypal. It lets you withdrawl money from paypal.

I don't talk here from where i am, but it's not common to have a credit card here, since we use normal debit cards for 99% of things. I got a workaround with mywirecard which is a prepaid credit card, it can be filled up with instant bank transfer. But yea, paypal would be the best solution for any Country in the EU, since the percentage of people that uses even prepaid credit cards is absurdly low. Now that i have a prepaid card it's all fine, still not the best solution to fill it up before i can buy something.

This is correct when it comes to certain virtual goods, it's harder to prove, but for physical deliveries of goods the merchant can prove, because you have to sign you've received the goods, if you don't sign, the courier or post office/fedex whoever delivers it will not give you the package. It's your job as a merchant to make sure you make proof of sale/delivery, and if not possible make sure at the least you trade with standup people.

Allot of the reason people charge back is because of shit products, while I do understand there is trial options for most items in the store, some developers make wishful promises on their products and never fulfill them such as adding tons of stuff, and doing all these wonderful things they never do. It's a catch 22 on both sides of the fence, store should be setup so developers have payments go to their own Paypal accounts and Bossland just invoices them monthly for their sales, depending on bossland to solve this issue proves to be slow.
