Buying new rig , opinions appreciated

CPU : Intel core I7 - 3770k Processor Quad @ 3.5 Ghz

GPU : ASUS GeForce GTX 650Ti 1GB

Ram : Crucial DDR3 BallistiX 16GB (4x4) 1600 Mhz

Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H Socket-1155

HD : Crucial m4 SSD 2.5'' 256 GB


I'll probably be having it both for personal use ( games etc ) + botting WoW.

Im very ignorant when it comes to hardware , would appreciate some opinions + how many bots you think i would be able to run on it

If i were you i would go with a 3570k and get a 660 instead. Because the 650 Ti is quite weak if you compare it to 660 ( AnandTech - Bench - GPU12 ) and the price is not to much different.

Yes go with the 3570, ive seen the 3570 Overclocked to the same speeds as the 3770. Try and get a H80 water cooling system and OC that 3570 to like 4.2 GHz

For benchmarks Google cpu benchmark first result is pass mark I think they have charts. If you intend to oc buy a k version else you don't need a k version cpu. Meaning unlocked multiplier. All others are fine. 32gb if u can afford it. I run 12 bots with fps limit @ 50% cpu and 60 ram. Since I see in becharks the 3770 is twice as fast as my 920 I assume you can run at least 20.but I cannot say If u can play at the same time.
