Buying GEM with gold and then selling gem on RMAH

I think gems used to be the same as item taxation (-1€ then -15%) but then they changed to same as GAH (-15% -15%).
I remember using gems to port gold a while back, could of been due to gold not selling at even .25€ though

Just an FYI, Blizzard looks down harshly on people who buy form GAH and sell the same item on RMAH. I've heard reports of people who have never botted or used 3rd party programs, but were banned by Blizzard with the email stating "for abuse of the Auction House"

That makes no sense though, since Blizz would get more revenue from more RMAH auctions.

Actually, no. It is not ok. They do ban for this.

They don't USUALLY ban for it, but people who do it in large enough volume sometimes get banned.

Yep, thats right. Try Youtube. U can find enough videos from ppl showing how to flip items every day and then... Bam... Disconnect for ever. Sure, u can try to get your acc back. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Worth the risk for just a few cents?

Cant remeber but a guy linked a GM saying flipping AH is okay. Its just not fine if its a bot doing it. But if YOU (human) does it im 100% sure its okay by Blizzard.
