Buying Character Transfer?

I am interested in buying a character server transfer, and I am in need of some more experienced advice. I am unsure how I would find someone willing to even do this, and if they were willing, I do not know how I would conduct the transaction so that both sides feel safe and secure, and to prevent either side from being scammed. Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
 
a lot of times it's a sham

get a guildy or trusted buyer of gold (from friends / guildies) and that may work... but for a char xfer they have to access your acct ... and a lot of times they steal your crap!
 
What are you offering for services?

I can provide ownedcore / playerauction rep.
 
@streets, if by offering for services you mean "price" we can discuss that later, but I think if we are to proceed, I would like to discuss (publicly, if possible) what the mode of trade will be.

You cannot trade / buy / sell / etc here.

That is why streets was offering you offsite.

We're happy to direct you to places, but you cannot perform any business transactions on these boards

I dont mind going offsite :). I just wanted to have opinions/ advice on preventing being scammed. I didnt mean to violate any forums rules :(
 
Easiest way is to just find a guildie to do it for X amount of gold, and have them give you the money with paypal, as long as you have a paypal attached to your account. Personally I wouldn't give ANYONE I don't personally know my account information. Not only are you asking for trouble, you are going to get your account locked because of it logging in from a different area. That alone is a pain in the ass, since it will probably happen twice, once when they log in, and again when you log in.

I don't really have a set "guild" that I play in, so the guildie thing really isnt an option unfortunately.
