OK, so i've been researching this issue and still have not figured out what the problem is, when HB is 'running' (click start).

I have a built gaming rig:
i7 5820k @ 4.5ghz
32gb DDR4 RAM
GTX 980Ti 6gb, overclocked
windows 10 Pro x64

all SSD Samsung Evo HD's, i run WoW and HB on SSD hard drives.

with HB off, playing wow 2560x1440, i get 75-144fps running around, and ~65-85fps in large raid/pvp.

When i click "start" on HB, my FPS drops immediately to under 60fps in most area's (including garrison), and when in (mass)pvp goes down to under 10fps sometimes. As soon as I die in pvp, my fps goes back up to 60+.

I have tried 3 CR's, and all still the same fps drop. I have turned off FrameLock, and turned it down/up, same problem.

why does this happen? I almost want to stop using HB b/c of the horrible FPS drop in Ashran pvp. But in dung is fine.

I've tried using lazyrider, and the default combat botbase...

I've used the following CR's: Singular / Accessary Routines - Hunter / TuanHA hunter / Gladiator Suite hunter.

All with the same drop if FPS results.

in my experince, running in windowed mode (required by HonorBuddy) = alsways shit performance (very slow frame rates)

something has to do with graphics being crap (slow) in windowed mode

especially in big groups or raids

Depends on the game.

An application running in fullscreen mode, is like an "exclusive mode". The application has full and direct control over the screen output.
In window mode, the output first has to be sent to the window manager (explorer), which manages where the output is drawn on the screen. Therefore this needs a bit more performance.

If you're running wow + hb in window mode and watch/stream stuff on another monitor performance decreases more.

System -> Graphics -> Disable Vertical Sync.
System -> Advanced -> Disable Max Foreground/Background FPS.
System -> Advanced -> Post-Process AA -> CMAA.
