Hey,

i just wanted to report a bug that my character keeps getting stuck on the same point. He always walks against a stone which seems to be a path item for the soldier. Here is the object im talking about:

This is an issue all over the world. You can put in Avoid tags to walk around the area in your profile. <Avoid X="" Y="" Z="" MapId="" Radius="" />
 
Know issue. Something that has been looked at tackled many times. Trust me its not being ignored.
 
Auto AvoidCreature goodness for SimpleCollidable types is on the todo list. :D
 
As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't work. I'm not using beta however
 
Avoid creature is working fine. I set my radius @ 25. Seems to be the safest. Avoid area, I am not sure if that works correct. Haven't tried to use that in a while. Last I saw, it wasn't working correctly.
 
AvoidTag is finicky to say the least. In test cases it works 100% of the time (empty profile with an AvoidTag and a MoveTo from one side of the obstacle to the other). In a practical scenario however I find that most of the time my obstacles are ignored and I get stuck running into them, or maybe the FIRST time I would encounter that obstacle it gets avoided but then subsequent movements around it end up not recognizing the avoidance. IDK.
