BUG: HB2 v10 endless circles trying to loot a mob.

Not sure if this has been posted or not, but I'm pretty sure it has since I've experienced it on two different machines, looks like it might be sort of common.

After the mob is killed, HB just circles erratically around the mob it just downed. Looks HORRIBLY like a bot. I caught it doing it for a few minutes straight today(Sometimes it would fix itself in 5-10 seconds.). Really makes me not want to leave the computer, but then that really voids the point of even using HB.

I've gotten it on every character from Mage, Druid, DK, Pally. All using various CC's

I hope this bug gets some priority. This is like a guaranteed ban if someone just happens to see you.
No way in hell you can explain that.

I think someone did post about this but i couldnt find it and was about to repost it myself. the problem is that strafe gets stuck, either left or right, more often it is left strafe. i dunno what causes and it seems at random, i have run for hours without seeing it and i have seen it several times within ten minutes. the only fix i have seen is to tap the strafe key to unstick it and it continues as normal.
 
yea ive had this before the only way i can get it to stop is stoping HB and starting it
 
I've ran the same char on the same profile using hb2 on two diff rigs.

The crappier rig is the only one having this problem, never got it to happen on the better one.

Could it be a fps issue or something?
 
I had this problem on a pretty powerful computer, so I don't think that an FPS issue is the case.. Although, it could be a hardware issue elsewhere..
 
Prolly due to a lag spike or pc is "overworking" at a point if you opening movies and have things using cpu time making it go up to 100% (imo)
 
I posted this very issue in the HB2 download thread.

My bot, running for 5 hours while I sleep overnight. I woke up and see it going around in circles trying to loot the same mob over and over again. Had 300 mob kills (should have way more kills than that) and 0 loot over 5 hours.

It didn't look bottish...it looked exactly like a bugged bot.
 
Uh no, it's not a FPS issue. I also doubt it's any sort of other system issue as I keep my rig running sound as can be. I7 Quad core with 4 gig ram, running on a raid0 on a 8800GT on Windows7 64bit. Also did this on my dual xeon server with 32bit xp.

I JUST found it doing it again, I came to the keyboard, fought with it for a second, rammed a few directional keys while also trying to loot the corpse and it then went about its business.

EDIT: Just after finishing this post I found it doing it again. One thing I did notice is there are 2 corpses here on top of each other. Maybe multiple corpses is throwing something off?
 
This has been happenening EVERY NIGHT!

Woke up this morning to see my character has been doing this for hours.

Also caught another looting bug where it wouldnt detect if the inventory was full.

Any word on this?

Try the newest beta and see if it still does it.
 
Yes, I confirmed it with the newest build(When it doesn't crash).

Looking at my logs really pisses me off, did it all day while I was gone. I'm watching it doing it (again) as I'm typing this.

It just simply doesn't loot correctly. Runs around like a robot dumbass.

I also want to mention this is primarily happening using the DK CC Cimmerian, newest build(Also did it on the previous build I was using).

There's a reason we say not to afk with betas.
