I just purchased a 3 session 3 month sub and it hasnt worked at all. I went thru the User Manual and the for Dummies Guide and numerous posts read and followed and still the same issue. I installed the distro packs from ms (all of them) and the network frame 4.5.1+ both game and bot run as admin. game settings windowed and in english. All my drivers are up to date. PC Specs are far beyond requirements for bot or game.

8 core amd processor 5ghz
16 Gigs ddr3 2400 mghz
crossfire r9 290x (x2)
500g Solid State HD

I have already tried removing buddywing and reinstalling both the old version and the new version that just come out. both do the exact same thing. I havent gotten far enough to even input my key and it freezes. this is a new computer less than 3 months old. Also ran buddywizard to make sure everything was installed and still same issue.

When you reinstalled, did you do it in the same folder? In that case, try to delete your "settings" folder.
Usually a good idea to reinstall in a completely new folder when you have problems, or make a /test sub directory and install a fresh copy in it.

i used honorbuddy for several years and have used buddywing a few years back when swtor was still fresh and it worked fine then. I have not the slightest clue to why it will not work. I am kinda wondering if it has something to do with my processor and its cores. I am not sure why but I have in the past had some strange things happen because the hardware was so new. I mean I am not computer illiterate, i build computers and networks so i have done all the common issue/fix. This one however I have never had happen.

any and all help is appreciated even if it doesnt fix my problem thanks for taking the time to try at least.

I use Windows 10 with no problems.

Oh sweet! Glad you mentioned it because I had a few issues, and just assumed it was due to the fact they were not supporting 10 yet. Definitely going to try again.
