because the bot for this game may not have much of a future. it's probably barely worth selling right now. so why would they place requirements on themselves to support this bot for years and years when it may have a very very small customer base.
I'd not be worried about the bot's future; I'd be worried about the game's.

wow's subs have gone no where but up (at least till it reached 10mill) swtor didn't even reach 2mil and is steadily dropping. by the time MoP comes out its going to be dead, and games like GW2 is just going to seal its fate.i would say it all depends on how the devs go about updating the game, cause i doubt WoW had 2 mil subs at launch, but now it has ~10 mil....there is still hope for swtor, as i said it's all how the devs go about with the updates...![]()
^^ this.No game will ever reach as big as WoW did. There is just too many games out now to play. Much more options now, then back then. I'm sure the game will keep going, just will never reach epic record breaking heights
^^ this.
The MMO market has changed. I don't think any MMO will ever reach 10 million again since there's simply too many choices. WoW will remain big simply because it's been around the longest (yeah, yeah, there were MMOs before WoW but they were, simply put, utter crap).
SWTOR isn't gonna die. Just like WAR and DDO and STO aren't dead. Heck, even Planetside is still very much alive.
