Buddystore wont connect

hi,
I've been using honorbuddy for a few years and i know the basic ways to fix it, however this one stumps me.
I have had HB constantly shut down in my face due to something being wonky with the buddystore.

Once i try to reopen it it gets stuck on "connecting to the buddystore, this may take a while" and when i wait a significant amount of time i can then use it again.
The problem stopped when the previous build (prior to the one released today) came out.

Yes i tried to clear all the caches, did not change a single thing. I see alot of people have been having this issue, and i hope something can be done to stop it once and for all.
im sick of the bot stopping mid boss or mid game in 2s.

ive attached a log but i dont think its necessary as the bot doesnt even start.

There is no problem with the 'Buddy Store' logic of Honorbuddy—the problem is peculiar to your machine.

Let's start from a 'known good'...

First, let's make certain your dependencies are not damaged. Please follow the instructions for 'Repairing it manually':

Second, let's clean out the caches completely (yes, again):
Just completely remove the %LocalAppData%/Bossland/ folder, in full.

Third, let's do a 'clean install':

If none of the above gets you going, then your problem is an interfering program. These two articles should help you get started hunting it down:


If still no joy, we'll need to see a fresh log, please.

Did all steps you provided.
Here is a perfect log to show i was botting my Tanaan dailies, bot shut down while i was on this forum in front of me.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, it is very hard to tell what can make it work or not.

let me know if u want me to try anything else.

still having issues after numerous reinstalls and computer restarts. also happening on my wife's computer on a fresh install of HB AND WoW
 
give us a fresh log file plz,there is a new build released since the last time we checked it

Here is a new log file from the new release, it closes all the time on both our computers. i will attach one of when it closed in the middle of questing, and one of when i tried to start it again.

Check your processes in task manager. You'll probably have numerous honorbuddy proccesses going. Sometimes honorbuddy doesn't unload when closed and any processes opened thereafter just hang there. Don't bother with any of the usual debugging steps, just restart your computer and it will work.

when i restart my PC it works for a while and then it inevitably does it again, i want it to stop, in 6 years i never had that issue.

Yeah same with me, but I was just offering a temp solution considering I've encountered this a few times now and wasn't able to run the client at all until I restarted.
 
I have a few addons such as DBM, Recount, Iskar Assist, Gladiatorlossa and masterplan.
As far as those programs the only one i have that is installed on my pc is curse voice, could that really be what is making my bot close like that? i will uninstall and get back to you.
