Buddy vs Minion

Hello,

I currently use minion and have really liked it, but the community, as far as user created profiles is very lacking. I come to these forums and I see that the user created content is very rich and can do Favor mats and red/blue scrip farming, among many other things, which I am sure minion could do, but I would not know how to set up myself and no one seems to care about making anything and most of the stuff that was good and worked in the past, has been broken and never updated.

The forums here seem a ton more active.

My questions is this, how well does the favor mat and HW unspoiled gathering profiles work? Is flying working or is it using something like OMC portals?

Buddy seems to not be as user friendly as minion, but is it really?

I would basically just use buddy only with the hope that I can farm favor mats and red scrip gathering.

I am sure these questions have been asked before, but I am at work and don't have a lot of time to search the forums :)

Hi I also currently a Minion subscriber but after I try Rebornbuddy the flying is better by far, HW unspoil is work great even greater than minion, also it can auto turn in collectable by using ExMatt plugin.RB can hover while wait nodes to spawn but minion dont, and by dont it look more bottish to me, also its very customizable if you know how to code and that is I'm trying to learn now. By learn on how to code and make own plugin its already fun by itself just my 2 cent. Even if minion is boasting a really good free pathing but now its broken because of the new cube mesher, now it can hardly fly right. Whats great from minion is user friendly GUI and their combat assist rotation. Maybe that will answer your question
 
Thanks guys, sounds like both have pros and cons, and since buddy is a one time fee, I have nothing to lose by trying it out.
 
Definitely RB. I'm not fond of how minion doesn't have auto face working properly too.
 
Um... I'm not sure hmm... i have think about it... maybe... not having to pay a subscription...? :3

I don't know if it's just me but when i see those on screen nodes / navigation points pop up on minion's demo videos, it scares the living hell out of me because it seems to be pulling and injecting code which i feel isn't very secure but I'm not entirely sure how the inner workings work for that so I can't say much on how secure it is, but I've noticed reborn also pulling information as well but at least I feel a lot more secure using it. I've been using RB pretty much non-stop but obviously active botting and not AFKing so I've never ran into a problem before with being spotted or called out. I think the only thing that needs improving is the navigation as it still jerks a lot and causes me to worry when traveling around.

reading memory is not the same as injecting code.
 
I have used Minion for over a year, and can tell you will all honestly that RB is by far much better in gathering, flying, collecting, crafting (with some addtional plugins such as Lisbeth). And the forum is really friendly and many is contributing to improve it for everyone.

The biggest lackluster in RB is what you call in Minion "Skillmanager". RB have something called combat routines, but they are "closed package" and not very easy to modify unless you are willing to spend some hours of coding yourself.

I decided to end my subscription mainly because of their subscription model. Not only did they charge a monthly cost of about six Euros. They also put all the good addon/plugin at their stores for selling ontop of their already high monthly subscription fee. Another lackluster is that Minion talked for months, and still do, about their superior flying support "soon to be released", and they are still struggling to get it out, while RB have been flying and navigating for months already (thanks to ExMatt great work and many contribution to this community).

Phew, they must be doing some black magic to make those colorful navigation nodes appear in game, neat that they aren't altering the game if that's what you mean.

id say for everything but combat assist RB is superior the combat routines for RB are lacking
 
Reborn for crafting, flying and gathering profiles. Mmominion profiles suck. The ones you buy from the store is good for leveling and selling accounts but no good gathering profile yet.
Mmominion also has teleport hacks which I use a lot for gathering and questing.
