I was chatting with others about the buddy store and I say we need a ranking system in it. That way the customers can give better feed back and we know what we are really buying. It gives the buyer and seller that extra guarantee that what the are buying is worth every penny

100% agreed, buddy store needs something like this badly.

"Where is the rating system? I have feedback to give!"
Plans are to eventually make available a five-star rating system in the Buddy Store.
Although the details of the rating system are yet to be finalized, we plan to allow you to directly rate the product you use. To prevent abusing the rankings, the ability to rank a product will be delayed for a period of time after you purchase it. The details are still being determined as to whether the delay should be 7, 14, or 30 days.
Our goal is to prevent ranking system "gaming" for both the developer and the user. We wish the marketplace to be as honest and balanced as possible for all parties in the transaction.
The Buddy Store also makes available a 'popularity' system based on sales. There are "top 5" lists for all categories and sorting inside categories are done by sale counts (e.g., Combat Routines, Plugins, Profiles, etc).

I just came back after a long break, and it's really annoying to have to go through the whole archives to find feedback about old versions of store's products.
A ranking system with comments would allow us to decide directly from the store.
Maybe also the number of downloads.

Edit: Plan sounds good! Just hope they're gonna give us as much information as possible.

In the mean time why not create a poll on what is great in the buddy store, I mean a user can only vote once, Im sure we will get nice results till the buddy store places it in.

In the case of CRs, you usualy can trail them, or if you already bought them have a refund... so instead of ratings, how about testing them for yourselves, and see if it fits your needs?

because spending the money on something, then seeing its crap and asking for a refund is like 500 times more complicated and outdated than having a ranking system which alsmost every store on the interwebs has nowadays. it's 2014, not 1999. welcome.

there's a trial button... you don't have to pay and then ask for a refund...
