This thread is dedicated to breaking some of the stupid gold farmer stereotypes. Some of these stereotypes generate a lot of unnecessary hate towards gold farmers.

How many of these questions have you answered yes to? Post below.

1) Are you Chinese?
2) Are you greedy and often ninja-ing?
3) Do you speak fluent English?
4) Do you farm gold with stolen accounts?
5) Do you use steal time cards or obtain them via any sort of fraud?
6) Are the names of your toon(s) unpronounceable?
7) Do you gold farm in a sweatshop?
 
Kinda pointless thread since 99% of people who would answer yes to those questions wouldn't be on this forum, no?
 
Well, the whole point is to break the gold farmer's stereotypes. I made the thread, confident that most people would answer no, therefore proving most of the stereotypes are unwarranted.

You don't think that some of the forum members here are Chinese, steal time cards, or have unpronounceable toon names, though?
 
Well, #1 is yes for me, rest are no. I speak a little bit of Mandarin Chinese.

2) Are you greedy and often ninja-ing? Nah never. I wont even set my bot to ninja nodes.


3) Do you speak fluent English? I'm Americant. So yes.


4) Do you farm gold with stolen accounts? Nope All are paid with my own money/gold


5) Do you use steal time cards or obtain them via any sort of fraud? Never. I'm not a asshole.


6) Are the names of your toon(s) unpronounceable? Nope. All are normal names.


7) Do you gold farm in a sweatshop? My house is often hot while living in Texas, So yes.
 
None of the Chinese farming companies I know use HB/GB as they have access to a much better/cheaper bot.

I don't mean to piss on your bonfire, it's just this isn't the place where you will get many of "those" types of farmers.

I lol'd better bots? When I use to use Chinese bots they were complete shit. They use bots like AIObot's. And if you think thats good then I feel pity for you.

They don't just use one bot. There are probably hundreds of different Chinese gold farming companies and at least a few of them use HonorBuddy/GatherBuddy.

Also, Lepton. You're not getting the point even though I clearly pointed it out in my second post.

The point is to BREAK the stereotypes. I know that most people will answer no to most of these questions.
 
I have to agree, the Chinese use the best bot of all time....

The thread seems pointless to me, but im going to answer out of boredom.


1) Are you Chinese? No, im hispanic, but i speak mandarin and i talk to gold buyers in their language, except when they are indonesian.

2) Are you greedy and often ninja-ing? nope, ninjing nodes brings only trouble.

3) Do you speak fluent English? Yes, along chinese, japanese, portuguese and spanish (dont hate,im a lifeless bookworm)

4) Do you farm gold with stolen accounts? no, ive bought a couple of accounts for farming though.

5) Do you use steal time cards or obtain them via any sort of fraud? no

6) Are the names of your toon(s) unpronounceable? depends on your language, some of my bank toons have hispanic names.

7) Do you gold farm in a sweatshop? no

I know i put toomuch info, but im bored.

Nope

Used to buy RAF months from a guy on a forum that most definitely used stolen credit cards.

You can't "break stereotypes" by asking a group of people who aren't apart of what you are asking. You would have to find an even ratio of people all over the world in order to make the "stereotypes" not be true. This is a pointless thread...

You must be very insecure and lack self-confidence if you feel post count is important enough for people to need to "pad" it.

3) Do you speak fluent English? Fluent Texan, decent American English
4) Do you farm gold with stolen accounts? Nope, great way to get all ur accts banned
5) Do you use steal time cards or obtain them via any sort of fraud? nope
6) Are the names of your toon(s) unpronounceable? No, special characters - yes
7) Do you gold farm in a sweatshop? Nope, but I do have 4 comps in this room
