Brand New, I got ExBuddy running & No errors. Don't understand how to use it.

So I picked up RebornBuddy, and Lisbeth paid version (Im a huge crafter). Tried to get into gathering, and so far Having some issues.

I'm attempting to use something to gather some collectables to level my 52 BTN. So I found entrax's blue & red script thing.

I found out I needed ExBuddy, so I got that all set up properly (I think).

Ran the Profile from entrax and it loaded up fine, issue is now I'm lost as to what to do.

I've been looking for the settings file, I tried opening the file itself but couldnt find anything to edit.


Could I get some help with the proper file structure, maybe someones bulk folder? Just so I have things up to date x.x;

you say the profile loads fine, what exactly are you struggling with? Is it flying? with exbuddy installed you should have a new plugin called "enable flight", you click on the checkbox beside it to enable. Exbuddy folder goes in your plugin directory.

I can't figure out where to tell it "Go gather collectable figs" etc. Looking for the "settings".

I already turned on the plugin "enable flight".

You will have to edit the GatheringManager.xml (and preferably save it to another name). Everything in that profile upto line 483 are settings that can be adjusted and you will also have to edit line 499, 502 and 505 to set your gear set numbers for MIN, BTN and FSH unless you have them at 10, 11 and 12 respectively.

It can be a little overwhelming on what to edit to do what you want and the Pokemon names don't really help either to make it clear. For gathering OldWorldFig you would need to change <!ENTITY OldWorldFig "0"> on line 221 to <!ENTITY OldWorldFig "1">, if you want it collectable you need to change the line below to <!ENTITY Collect_OldWorldFig "1">

If you want to gather normal materials like hardsilver ore you will have to edit line 408 and set the fixed amount, <!ENTITY HardsilverOre "198"> will collect hardsilver ore until you have 198 in your inventory. Make sure to enable Snorlax when you want to do this (line 13).

Also, my issue now is that even though I have it set to collectable (both entities are set at 1) it runs up and randomly starts whacking at the node without using toil or anything. Wastes the whole node.

By default it will discover unknown items (likely a setting also) until you have discovered all items available on that node. It is possible that this happened. It would tell you in the log output if so.
