Bought wow account question

Ishnu ala everyone.

I bought a wow account early wotlk in 2008/2009 from a dude. I have invested alot of time, and money in it. I recently came to wonder what if the person wants to play his sold account again. I dont have his license or anything like that. I heard he can get it back by saying to blizz he got hacked and show his lisence?

My questions are:
Can he still get the account back after like 5-6 years?
Is there any way i can transfer all my toons to a new fresh account?

I got wow authenticator on if that helps..hehe.

Highly doubt he can get it back now specially if you changed as much as you possibly can, As far as I know you can only Realm, Faction, Race Change no account transfer :/

You can account transfer if the names on the accounts are the same.

original owner always can get it back, even if you have their ID copy, they make a new one and send the newer to blizz, that is gonna be valid for blizzard over your older copy. thats why you dont buy used accounts for a lot of money and/or invest a lot of time in it.

Exactly. The original owner can always get their account back, even after 6 years simply because they can provide information that you can not. Simple id scan on today's newspaper and a picture of the license next to their face will beat anything you have from them, period.
