Bought a wow account need suggestions to secure investment

i need help or suggestions on the best way to secure my investment with this purchase i got it really cheap and the account has 7 80s on it would i be able to start a new account with all three expansions using his name and transfer the toons to that new account that way if they try to get it back the chars will be on my new account well anyway need ideas thanks

Well, i had the same problem, and the people on mmowned tould me this.

if you transfer chars away and he reclaim it and said he was hacked or w/e they move em back to his old account. ( and you stand there with a useless acc)

This is always a possibility, did you get the email, secret Q/A, and an PhotoID of the original owner? You'll need all of these things to make it as secure as possible.

Also if the person you bought it from wasn't the OO, you can try putting an authenticator on it, that way ONLY the OO can get it. This is assuming the person you bought it from wasn't the OO and didn't have a photoID.

even if you put an authenticator he would be able to get it back, all he has to do is tell blizzard he got hacked and they put an authenticator on it

uh, no, I was hacked, and someone put an authenticator on my account. I simply called them up, no id needed, told them what happened, whaola, 5 minutes later (hit the button that says you speak spanish, then when a spanish speaking person comes on there say "no speak esponlo" or whatever and the'll instantly transfer you to an elglish speaking person, and you dont have to wait) I was back on my account

Well back to the point the safest way i think you can do this is put on a authenicator and just wait if nothing happend with in 1 month or so then i would be pretty sure to move em, if you still want it then.

i paid him with paypal and he came over we changed all the stuff from here so yes i got the password email and secret question i just thought about id right before i read this so ill contact him to get that so im thinking if he tries to take back the account i take back my money from paypal
