botting with account with no gender or team

Hi all,

would like ur take on this.

since latest patch i created a new ptc acc and started botting it. I will not pick a gender or join a team until i reach a desired level nad only then log in from my phone.

Do you see any issues with this? is it more safe or more dangerous?

i thought i will experiment with this as i do not really care about this acc. (got lvl 38 main lol)

Yes this is one of the things that is missing. You have to do the tutorial and avatar creation yourself at the moment.

I think he means he wants to make an account and then log in directly with the bot, perhaps thereby bypassing the gender/name sequences. I presumed it wouldn't work, therefore never gave it much thought, but since it's not barred by the UI, I could see it being possible.

Assuming it's possible, and if Niantic thinks to check for this, it would be an automatic/instant ban, seeing as regular users are restricted by the UI. This would be indicative of API tool (or something of the sort), which of course, indicates third party tools.

That being said, I don't know if it's something they would look for, and depending on their data management, such a method may even restrict them from seeing your user (unlikely), but imaging that the databases are tabled by username or something, maybe? I would, however, think it likely, that this would imply that you could also not gain EXP.

I am not sure about Niantic securities and checks now but I did exactly the same and it worked when I started at 2-8-2016 and still playing (Botting) on this acc.

Well I did just like that and yesterday when my bot was level 25. Then I log in in the phone and choose genre, etc. and did that other start things too. I got my starter Pokémon too and I got cp75 Charmander. Is it normal when you caught your starter Pokémon their cp's are under 20? SO thought I get better starter Pokémon too than normal.
And got tons of achievements.
Still I'm not banned yet and still botting.

i'm in the same situation with you, created the acc and lvl up, without meeting professor 1st, but i haven't been banned ..yet.. i'm botting 2 acc the same method currently

I did this by mistake. got to level 15 and realized.
logged on phone n did it all
now its level 26 and still strong

first of all thanks for all ur work and dedication

I just wanted to confirm, started a fresh PTC acc (only created it online), put its details as log in details for PTC and botting yesterday and now again today. at the moment lvl 11 and going strong

So it is possible. My aim is to reach, slowly, something around lvl 32 or so. then log in for the first time from my phone and see what happens

I do not know if niantic is checking for those things or not, but thought i would give it a try

well, this is a botting forum. I am not sure if it is or not, or even if it makes a difference. I would have thought this should be an instant ban lol, but seems like it aint ^^

will report when i am higher lvl. i will bot this acc only 4-6h/day and go till lvl 32 or so lol

Right now i have two accounts that are level 23 that i have log into and gave them names but i didn't do it until level 18. I have annother account thats about to hit level 25 that i've never log into yet.

same here; have now 4 new accounts,3 with pf from build 117, 1 with pf 20.
2 of the new accounts heve a Team, the other not.
they all between 12-21 actually.

There is a guy on ownedcore that sells hundreds of level 20 accounts with no gender/name/team. I have not seen any complaints, so I think it must be safe at least for now. I have botted a few blank accounts to level 20 for family and friends with no bans as of yet. I usually bot the accounts in a city near them.

Really people buy level 20 accounts? hmm level 20 isnt really that hard even without a bot didn't think they would sell that good.

I have seen him sell them for under a dollar each. The going rate at this time is $2 each.
