This has been the case for me as well so far but there is one extra precaution I would have at this point in time. There are SOME reports of people losing their CLEAN accounts and or INNOCENT guild mates getting caught in the net if the guild bank was flagged as a farming bank. These bans are different than the HB detected suspension. It's a perma ban for economy instead of the cheats/hacks/3rd party software suspension. If you're botting herbs / farming gold and are moving these resources through a guild bank or trading to your main account via mail or even direct in character, it is POSSIBLE to get clean accounts banned.
Now, LET ME BE CLEAR, this all speculation at this point in time as it is difficult to sift through reports and statements on a board full of trolls and angry people when they get banned ( hence the SOME, CLEAN, INNOCENT, and POSSIBLE ). One thing seems pretty consistent across these posts though. It does seem that Blizzard is going above an beyond right now to wipe out the storage and benefiting accounts from the suicide farm botting accounts. Gold farmers don't mind losing farm accounts as long as they gather and transfer enough resources to the "safe" banks to have a profit margin above the cost of the botted account by time Blizzard caught it. Gold farmers undercutting the token prices is what hurts blizzard the most because it's impacting their cash flow if people are buying from the farmers instead of them. Currently on my server I can get 2 tokens worth of gold for $30 from the trade sites vs 1 token from Blizzard for $20. I personally don't do tokens and just have auto renewing subscriptions on my credit cards, just using this as an example. Sony / Daybreak was able to track platinum exchanges / BoE items between accounts on Everquest back when they were ambitious enough to do so, and this I personally know for certain. Therefor I do find it conceivable that if Blizzard is really looking to hurt the gold farmers, they could have started doing this as well but it is manual process of sifting through logs of those specific accounts that were caught farming and following the gold or mats.
So, that was alot of words to basically say, just be careful. It's not the bot program itself running next to your main that's an issue, but if you're botting accounts are farm accounts to gather mats for your main, just be cautious how you move the resources. Again, these aren't blanket sweeps like an HB detection. This is more of an investigation process from Blizzard if you end up on their radar.
