Botting while on phone with GPS off

Any one know if this is a bad idea? Could Niantic possibly detect different ip addresses? Let me know what you think, and if you currently do this.

It's been stated by the devs, "never do this."

I would HIGHLY caution against it. I don't know the precise reason, whether it has to do with IP addresses (unlikely since both your botting pc and phone could be on the same IP and this still appears to be dangerous), MAC addresses, etc. But I would echo the advice of the developers and say never do this.

I don't know enough about the API or banning protocols to give you a detailed response but this was the biggest thing that the devs said never to do.

I did this constantly. I botted 5 hours a day max with jogging speed. I got banned this morning... I guess you better not use your phone (GPS off) while botting.
