Botting seems to be harder for (some of) us

That's the situation on my server:
Price for Saronite ore is falling down more and more, even below the famous thresold of 12g50s/stack
Price for Titanium ore fell below 220g/stack
Frost lotus is about 40g/each, but is going down day by day.
Herbs are not so useful, glyph sidemarket is just too static(there's no need of new glyph day by day, once u buy yours you'll just forget them), potions sidemarket seems to be just ignored (except for raiding potions)

Prices started to free fall since some farmer are using WI to farm(an hack who allows you to walk underground, move a lot faster and stuff like that). Beside this, the nodes literally "disappear" in front of my eyes whenever i'm gathering. Can someone with a longer experience tell me how is this going to finish?

Smelt the saronite and sell it for 25g per stack to vendor.

Those that sell at or below 12.5 are idiots, and you should abuse this by buying it and making profit from them.

I still have afew private buyers for sarnoite, but finding it harder to find more private buyers so I find myself vendoring alot of bars these days.

the same way the matix ends. Agent smith goes nuts and grows wildly out of control, the machines send neo to kill smith, and then the matrix is reset, plain and simple.

but really all an all, its only going to take a ban wave to two to fix everything, the players who hate bots really underestimate how much bots actuily do for them, if you needed Saronite ore to make some gear and you spent a lot less on it, wouldnt you be better off? maybe its time to do some price fixing amoung botters, if we can get everyone to say start sticking ore up at 250G a stack, all at the same time, it might fix things.

I thought this was going to be about how you couldn't setup the bot right. But once I read your post, I'm sorta in a similar boat.

I've got characters on multiple servers. The one that all my friends play on, is absolutely terrible for botting. Apparently everybody and their dog bots on that server, because prices are damn near rock bottom. Saronite sells for 13g/stack, and there's always a ton of it up on the AH. Frost lotus were being spammed in town for 650g per stack. Decks of cards are going for half of what they do on my other server, even nobles decks are only going for 2.5-3k. There are so many flasks on the AH, that even at 650g (if you can get it) a stack, you make more selling just frost lotus than you will with flasks.

I'm not really sure how to make any decent amount of gold on this server in any respectable amount of time.

heck frost lotus is at 500g a stack on mine now all herbs are down to about 13g/stack except lichbloom. it's pretty sad

haha icethorn is at 8g /stack on my server. i bought about 60stacks for 8g-9g today and makin shitloads of money by turning them into runes/darkmoon cards

Lol yeah i know the thing, i managed to grab a darkmoon card death for 99g because there were like 20 on the AH.
Usually they're like 1k.

wowI has been around for a LONG time guys, it's not even remotely new. the economy changes all the time as well, adapt or quit complaining. you're not going to change anything unless you have 100k's of gold in the first place. you'll not change the market by upping your prices, not many (if any will change their's to match yours). Plain and simple. None of this is new. just the names have changed. be creative there are other ways to make money in this game that don't have the words frost lotus or saronite or titanium in them.

but what's really funny, and i see this in thread after thread after thread after freaking thread. "gosh those other guys cheat different from me, it's not fair! their cheating is ruining my cheating! waaah!" it's hilarious.

eAuction could very well be the solution, having a database of prices setup so that it can "agree to disagree" on the prices and actually fix the prices so botters get more profit.

WI has been around for a long time, but developers were just too lazy to fix it everytime a feature was not working anymore, so it was just half-working till febraury. A new version came out a few weeks ago, and it seems that all the hacks previously broken are now working...
I'm not saying "ZOMG imma gonna report all those friggerz who uze WI", i'm just wondering how this is going to end. By this time, I just COD 2/3 of my stuff to private buyers and this saves me a lot of time, if I have to move to another business it'll take time. Time is money, friend.

I don't care that others are botting too. Good for them, grinding sucks. I'm saying, how do you make gold when all the mats AND the "valuables" those mats are for, are at dirt cheap prices? You're spouting off about how we're crying about.. well, whatever it is you're PMS'n about, I'm asking a question.

Flasks, you make more off the frost lotus, smelt the saronite, maybe? Decks of cards? I mentioned how cheaply they're going for now. Enchanting mats are the only things that seem to be holding steady, but even those, it's going to take a LONG time to make 10k gold off of enchanting mats.

So how do you make gold on a server when all the normal things that're the money makers are dirt cheap?
