Ill start off by saying sorry for opening yet ANOTHER thread, ive went through 7-10 threads of botting spec but none or only some are answering what I look for..

Well, i need a pc to run for 24 hours a day 4 diablo clients playing together as party

I know that im certainly going to buy intel i5 3570k and around 8-16 RAM

now, im not sure what to aim for abotu the rest, im planning on going tommrow to the pc store and build, so id like some input about what do i need ASIDE the processor and RAM (these are the only two things i have a clue about)

thanks a bunch!

with respect

Y

Video card to run the game as well. What is your budget? My PC is pretty overkill I'd say for one bot only Lol.

i think a xeon 12xx v2/v3 should do the job.
its a i7 k without the possibilty to overclock.
not sure what gpu he need for 4 bots, if the igpu is enough get one with one, otherwise you can get a amd 7700 or something like that 50w and passiv cooled (tower should have some vent)

mainboard ~70€ (nn for a h87x since you can´t overclock anyways and you won´t need several gpu´s)
cpu ~200€
i think if you get more ram or a ssd (samsung evo 840 maybe) it should be more then enough.

My PC is a far overkill with 2 7970s and my bot just BOSD/Crashes with a "Out of sync error"

Honestly haven't ran it for more than 5 hours since I bought it like 2weeks ago.

If it can run diablo it is a botting capable machine. Talking about i5 chips is a ridiculous overkill and not needed for a botting machine. Just VM it.

Could you kindly explain to me the Virtual machine necessity? i asked few posts above,
what does virtual machine grant me?

Update: I have purchased this pc:
process: i5-4670k
space: 1TB
ram: 8 gb (1600 Mhz)
gpu: geforce GT 630 2GB

any opinions? is the graphic card/gpu ok?

If i google VM ware and demonbuddy, all i read about is banns and stuff, is it safe to use VMware these days?

With regards to vmware either i had shitty settings or it isnt for me. I have a pc i built in 2010, that ran at its peak 6 sessions of D3 lol back in the day when gold was awesome good pricing although i came late to the party. I quit when they all got canned lol. Trust me when i say that system is good enough, cos mine was much much older.

Vmware honestly dont bother with it just get ISBoxer if it gets too much or you can prolly dig around here for low settings to reduce the burden on your system not that your sys would have any.

you don't need to run a VM its a ongoing debate on which is safer, a VM which takes up more resources CPU/GPU/RAM ect or just straight up running it normally. Also you might wanna get more then 8GB of RAM as the bots will eat that up and crash pretty frequently. as for your GPU and CPU they seem fine to me, don't really need that much HD space but that's your call.
