Time to get nostalgic!

Remember back in the days with the old bots? They were so simple and sometimes really poorly made ?

- Fishing bot: You had to get the color of the blob in order for the fishing bot to register that a fish was hooked

- You had to assign where on your Action bar a certain skill was, fx Bloodthirst is on Bar 3, buttong 2

I used a bot GPbot. (Don't bother censoring its it does not exist anymore). All it can do was grind and i think gather. You had to make your own path and everything.
Some of the more silly things were:

- Had to make own rotation in a excel kind of window. Yes with spell X is on X bar and has X CD and X cast time and need to be casted after X.
- Surprisingly enough the Combat side was pretty awesome because i supported a lot of ifs and logics. I remember than on my pally i could be top dps in BG if you coded the CR right.
- Seeing the fist bot train and making friends with the user.
- A dude started to black mail me because i was farming the same place for herbs for like 2 years(wrath) became friends later

It was a lot simpler back then. No fancy options and logics and hooks, but the detection was a lot simpler too. With 4 bots you could make a lot of profit as irl cash.

i remember using a fishbot back in wrath. youd stand in one spot and the cursor would zip back and forth across the screen looking for the bobber.
