Basically I want to bot on a secondary account. My only concern is I've seen people reporting how they lost all of their accounts connected to same Ip address/or battletag id. So if the Ip address part is true how does one protect against that? The whole reason id be doing this is SO my main account is safe. Does making a completely different Battletag save you? or does it still link to you from the ip address? The only thing I plan on doing is leveling up clones of main characters for the dummy account and ONLY bot with the dummy account. Nothing else. Any help to make my main account saved from any connection of the botted/dummy account will help me a lot thanks. And yes i know botting is risky but having a vanilla account, losing it would be devastating.Which is why I want to protect it before I proceed with the dummy/botting account.

P.s. Should mention im kinda in the middle of no where so getting/buying another isp is kinda limited. and wouldn't want to pay double what im paying for another one anyway. So if it does not have a work around for my limitations Ill move on but was hoping a solution is out there some where.

why should you get bannend for botting if you do not bot on that account?
just make sure that you don't share things in game like the same guildbank or transferring gold and items,. This could end up with an ban, but I'm not 100% sure about the last thing

Because people are claiming at least that accounts used on the same Ip address that are not botted on, are being banned by the bans they get on botted accounts. They are also using the same ip address. in their claim. Thus saying they got Ip address banned .

if you still got bannend you also just can create a ticked saying that you have never botted. they will look again into your account and they will see that you haven't botted
