Botting account on same PC as a non-botting account

Hello guys!

I've been reading the forums for an hour or so about how Blizzard bans all the accounts on the same IP adress. But since there are a lot of different opinions and claims I'm not sure what to do.
I would like to start a new account for botting only. But do I need to worry about my main account which I dont bot on if I'm running both WoW clients on the same computer (and therefore, the same IP)?

I've read about people who got banned on accounts which weren't used for botting and says it was because of Blizzard traced your IP adress and gave a ban on that. Then there's people who claims that if you use a prxy/ V P N on one of the account, you should be safe.

My main account has been used for botting in a very small scale before, but not anymore. And as of now, I don't want to lose it. You guys got any tips, trix or experience on how to bypass this problem or if you know that it won't be a problem using the same PC?

Any help is appreciated :)

They only ban accounts that have been using bots or other 3rd party applications.

Blizzard doesn't ban all accounts on the same IP unless all those accounts have been botting and found out.

My non botting account was left alone when 4 of my botting accounts have just been banned.

Unless it's ban is on the way of course !

Thanks for the answers, really :)

I'll guess it's just to start botting then!

Non botting accounts have been banned before... But you can just appeal it.

If you need any further help, feel free to ask me on skype: odysseusgold ;).

One more thing before I'm gonna start my botting account. Do I put myself in the risk if I use RAF between the characters? I intend to just send a RAF request to my bot account but don't level up through RAF. Just to be able to grant extra levels on alts and for rewards.

Do not use V. P. N. -> At the moment, Blizzard is actively looking for those connections and will close your account without prior warning.

*EDIT: the message you will receive from them is that you are abusing the economy by buying or selling items or gold for real world money. But if you are using a V. P. N., then that's the reason why your account has been closed.

I can confirm that they do not ban accounts on same IP, they do not even ban accounts on the same Battlenet account. They only ban the account they have caught.

I know this from recent experance

Just wondering, how can you confirm this?
You got information from someone with in blizzard?
Or you are just assuming that they don't because of what happened to you?

They can ban all IP's but the point is that just because one wow account on a bnet and/or same IP is botting doesn't mean that all wow accounts under that bnet/IP WILL BE banned.

I'm gonna bot on a different bnet account which has a different name registered to it. But would it be unwise to send a RaF link to the other bnet account just to get the rewards from it?
