For the past two weeks I've been reading the ban report threads and it seems quite obvious that farming materials, mining ores and playing the AH etc could result in a ban.

If you still want to make an income and earn consistantly make gold, then you'll need to diversify yor income stream.

From the threads it looks as though most botters are farming the same locations, the same ores, flying the same routes, selling in bulk, and trying to play the auction house.

Im sure a few of you do this already but, I would recommend that you reinvent yourself as a botter. If everyone is swimming up stream, you down stream and visa versa.

It's still possible to come up with new methods to make gold ingame. Even real currency. But you need to take a moment and figure out what people want, need and will pay top dollar to get.

Are you using alternative methods to make gold?

i see lots of lvl85 dwarf paladins on alliance crowded realms recently.They are doing archeology only in kalimdor and i'm sure they are making decent gold per hour by vendor trash with dwarf archeology passive+%310 flying.Yet it is hard to do for us with current state of archeologybuddy.
