I bought a key a year ago but lost interest in the game soon after I bought legion.
I came back about a week ago or so and still had some time on my account so I fired up honorbuddy and leveled up a shaman for a day or two. Kept having issues with the bot performance so I made a post about it, few hours later my key was deactivated.
Fast forward about a week, I hadn't used honorbuddy since then (no active key) and for almost a year before then and I tried to log on tonight and I was banned.
I think the problem for Bossland right now is two fold, frist off the bot is robotic as hell. Anyone who has used it or seen a video of someone using it knows exactly how it acts. It has no randomization, no semblance of humanity and does some of the most idiotic "That's a bot Jim" things. For example the illogical pathing and stuck on easily avoided objects with the most convoluted unstuck actions I've ever seen.
When honorbuddy was bigger, before it became apparent that they could detect it people were often banned via reporting. I assume that was how I got caught, any invisible GM watching the account for a few seconds could easily identify it as a bot.
So your problem now is two fold, in my opinion. One your bot isn't good enough to avoid simple casual player detection and you can't beat warden. It seems illogical to pretend your solution rests solely in warden/tripwire when the bot itself will get you caught by some 48 casual mother of six.
