Hey everyone,

Just a problem with my botting computer that is really starting to piss me off. Every time i come back to my computer, i find both my bots (Farmers, farming gold ofc) have crashed. Now when i say Bots, i mean the WoW's have crashed. The computer is pretty decent and should be able to run 2 WoW's at low settings, but seriously? I cant even get 2 hours out of the pc without them crashing. System specs below. I have reinstalled Windows on this PC, and have tweaked XP to use even less resources.

My question, how do you prevent this from happening?

System Specs:
Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz
nVidia GeForce 9800GT (With an underpowered PSU :P)
2GB of Ram (2x512MB, 1x1GB Stick)
Just reinstalled Windows XP
80GB HDD (Only WoW and GB Installed)

Thx in advance!

Do you monitor for packletloss or anything? My ISP has been driving me wild over past 2 months. The connection will just lag out and connect right back, but enough to lag wow. A lot of the time when wow would start to lag out, it would cause a crash, crashing wow+hb.

If that was the problem, how would i go about fixing that?

EDIT: Also, my network setup is a bit weird if this is the problem: I have comcast cable, so the internet comes through to my modem, then to a wireless router, (for friends, family etc), then out an ethernet cable to another wired router (Because of distance of 2 rooms) then out to my PC, and my botting PC. Would the double router or double NAT be causing this problem?

have you tried just using a fresh copy of wow ? I had the same problem and reinstalling fixed it :)

Well, i tried deleting WTF and Cache folder if there is a difference between reinstall and that?

mm.. yeah, if you do that it should reset it back to defaults.. so that might not be the issue... on your network card on your computer, do you have it so it can send its self into power saving mode ? if so.. switch it so it never does

K, turned off via Device Manager, will report back with results tomorrow when i wake up (11:45 PM For me)

Nope, disconnected both of them at 5:08 AM, and the servers dont restart for 2 days (checked on the announcements on login page).

Ok, now the bot is crashing when one of them go to Dal, it crashes, what is wrong with this damn computer?!

there is nothing wrong with pc i have a great pc to evrything up to date i get dc often to it only happns when im asleep not when im awake i hope bossland relogger is done soon:)

Yes, this is understandable, my main PC (great gaming pc) can run 6+ with no problems whatsoever, and can run them day and night, its just this one damn PC thats screwing me over. Just the loading of Dalaran makes it crash, wtf is with that?

ow i was talking about a dc wel i gues u saying ur whole pc goes of crash or what my english isnt good:)

9800 and old PSU is a bad combo.
check for vid card overheating and power supply 5v & 12v rail stability under load (nvidia tools for temp and multimeter for voltages)

My old 8800gtx sli setup caused issues when going into dala with more then 3 wow sessions.
A good cleanup of the nvidia fans and a larger PSU fixed those problems.

i have been having the same problem all day, since using HB1.9.6.3 every 30-60mins it crashes, when i say it i mean just HB it goes to the send Hb the error msg i do and restart HB.

Personally I think it is faulty RAM. Take out a stick or both (if you have replacements). Alternatively, I got mine to work by running my WoW.exe from a drive other than C:\ (D:\) and it has not crashed
