hi everyone,
i am very much new here and i have a question.
i play infinity wars and it is not well known online tcg.
a bot discussion was started on our forums that led to an economy discussion and so on.
my question is how hard would it actually be to make a bot play cards on curve.
cause in infinity wars the turns resolve by itself so the bot only needs to play cards from hand on curve and that's it.
i all honesty i have no programming knowledge but the hearthstone bots i have seen seem to do way more tasks than just playing a card from hand.
i argued that an infinity wars bot that could actually win some games without a very complex A.I that calculates every possible move can be made. and will win sometimes.
my logic behind that argument was the fact that there are working bots in hearthstone with what seems to be a more complex A.I than the one need for a bot to win in infinity wars.

the counter argument was pretty much calling me an idiot and saying that it is a waist of time to make said bot or that said bot will take hundreds of hours to program and will take a lot of system resources.

so my question really is am i an idiot thinking you could reprogram the hearthstone bot to fit a different tcg
or use the same scripts or something? my knowledge here is really lacking.
will it really take hundreds of hours and be a complete waist of time?
