Botanist banned why?

Why is botanist banned?
I don't usually ask for why a banned member is banned but considering there's tons and tons of his profiles here and he contributed tons i'd like to know why he was banned.

Actually nvm I found out why.

I think he removed his profiles, not the moderators here. And even after he played innocent, I doubt he could have any valid reason for the stuff he was accused of.

Whatever, I still keep a copy of his public profiles, and will use them till they are working of course!
 
I think we can't jump to any conclusions, it's between him and the people that were involved... best not to get involved since none of us were present or really know for sure.

It was revealed to the public, that he was caught to release the Buddy Store paid content he obtained with some known hacking groups.

As a Honorbuddy community developer himself, it should be the last thing he could do, since he have idea how hard work is required to develop stuff for the HB community, and probably the most of the developers, selling in the Buddy Store have dedicated themselves to this work, and make living of it.

I am fairly sure there are many more chat logs coming. From what I hear there are some from Bossland, Bambam922 as well as others. Guess they are all edited.

well i am in a position to know what happened exactly and why,as you probably saw at the end of the log file some lines got removed by the publisher
it happens to know what those lines saying while you dont :)

so its not clever at all for you to be someone's mouthpiece when you have no clue about what happened and what the facts are

later today i will post a Skype log of mine and Barack Obama talking about Blizzard and our plans to shut them down

dont be naive,this is real world and real money...its not your WoW realm and your in game currency

Well this shit got super drama'd out. real fast.
 
One of Botanist's many accounts was used for scamming us. I told him, he couldn't provide a sensible explanation for his behaviour and I closed the account. Botanist objected to having that account closed and withdrew his own profiles and started spamming his complaints on his other accounts. That has led to bans or mutes of those accounts.

I'm sad about it as I always encouraged Botanist and have given him WoW cd keys and game time to support his development. But theft is theft and once that account was clearly identified, it had to be closed.

I'm sad too that this happened, but I do have one more question what happens to his profiles as I see Tony reposted them?
