Bot update for bugs in the bot

This is a shout out to the community, for checking how many people are still out there using this bot
and looking for an update to this bot to resolve a lot of bugs.

As there arent many replies by developers and this bot has pretty much been abandoned, im hoping we can get
this bot more revived then its current state.

The bugs we are currently getting, are getting worse by the SWTOR patch, which makes this bot more unusable then before.

I hope there are enough people out there to request such update...

  • Torobject
  • Gethealth
  • UseItem
  • UseObject
  • Mesh

what i saw is the following:

bot tries to interact with a npc. wont succed because he is too far away. instead skips the conversation and moves on

This is a profile issue. Bioware moved the entire planets or meshing from BW is off a few coordinates, so many objects are not in the same location as when the profiles by Kick where made.
 
oh yeah please :) I really want Update this Bot its very very nice bot i will buy Again this bot :)
 
I paid for a month of the bot and I can't even use it. I have tried everything to remedy, .net and everything, tested on 3 machines and the issue is not on my end. I get pretty much all the errors you listed after running the bot for 20 seconds. My PC doesn't even flinch running this on maxed out graphics and running on full low settings with the bot it's very choppy. I check the log for the bot and it's spamming so many errors it causes my SWTOR to lock up including my entire machine. Realtime affinities and everything does nothing, the bot is simply sending too many commands.

So I would say yes, if there's still a way to send money the bot needs support, as supposedly no one can even use it. I have wasted 12+ hours fiddling with 3 machines with no luck. Could there be something else I am missing? I have troubleshooted every solution in every thread i've seen on the support forum.

have you tried changing the process priority of the larger swtor process (there is two: one big and one smalll process) to high or real time?
do you run the bot "as administrator"?

If you encounter problems that arent being fixed by the suggested comments on the forums, i can help you out via teamviewer. Be aware, im an European citizen, so time may be a bit of an issue.

No errors what so ever?
We all tried to contact but its just dead on the other end...
 
Yeah. BW became unusable for me after the last patch. The bot randomly stops, usually in combat, leaving my character standing there idle getting shot in the face.

Most of the issues related to the bot, as I've detailed in many of my past postings, have more to do with the horrible spaghetti coding in the game itself, not the bot. BW was actually more cleanly coded than HB according to the devs, and they spent countless hours trying to fix the unfixable after the bot was first released. Constantly changing memory locations and poorly patched coding in the game mean that the bot will never be problem free.

I didn't respond in the post you referenced because, honestly, I'm tired of restating the above over and over again. What I can say is that the bot, warts and all, is still miles better than any other grinding bot for SWToR. I run my bots, restart them as needed, and make some money on the side for my efforts, which is all I can ask.

Keep in mind that BW was scheduled to be retired this past December. Since it's the still the best option to productively grind for SWToR credits, the community convinced the developers to continue its operation, which is why still have a bot to use now. Good luck, and I hope you can get a more concise answer from Apoc or Aevitas (who currently maintains the bot).

People who are here with this bot from day one, know this.
But the overall stability of this bot, is getting worse every patch.

If Bossland GmbH doesnt want to update this bot in any way other then matching SWTOR version number, then please let us know.
(Re)Writing profiles is a lost cause then, duo the fact many functions not working properly (from the bot).
Tweaking Routines has not much effort to the point only optimizing the routine itself.

Basically what im saying, the flaws i can accept (Sync between swtor and bw), but they are so worse at this current state that the bot halts most of the time after just 10sec to 1 min.
 
I hope that the bot will remain and will not be abolished :/

I thought I'd pop my head in here and point out that Aevitas did quite a bit of work on the navigation server a few months ago (which was a huge fix for the community):

Per other issues, he would have to comment on which problems are routine/profile related, which are unfixable, and which are fixable from his end.

From my own limited perspective, my bots have been running as consistently as always, requiring a restart every few hours or when a nearby character goes stealthy. I get the same errors everyone else does, but the largest stability factor for me seems to be the area in which I choose to grind.

Yep, after Restart the Bot works fine again :) Using Kick?s Profile & Joe Combat , Move 90% Self, i dont use the Movement only when i go afk
