Bot sold my weapon+gems.

So.. I alt tabbed out for an hour or so and when I checked up on the bot to see why it wasn't killing mobs fast enough, I saw a spell missing. I checked the items and even my stash, the bot either dropped or sold my weapon with the gems or it took the gems out and sold them..

What the actual fuck?

Sorry to hear this.
I'm pretty sure 100% you configured something wrong, and/or your item filter isn't set up. From the 2 years of botting, mis-selling has never happened.
Can you post your log so we can see? The full log, also your StaticItemFilter.json, in your Settings/[Profile]/

Sorry to hear, but the bot implementation we provide with Exilebuddy does not contain any logic to do that for the very reason you have brought up.

  • The only way to make the bot unequip your gear is to code it in via a plugin. The bot we provide with Exilebuddy is a basic grind bot that does not item upgrading or swapping.
  • The only way to unequip skillgems from items is to code it in with a plugin. The basic grind bot has no reason to ever touch user skill gems.
  • The bot is physically unable to sell items with skillgems in them, because I added code specifically to prevent that. Upon trying to sell such an item, you'll get an error: "[SellItemsCoroutine] InventoryPanel.FastMove returned UnsupportedItem."
  • The bot places items in the cursor in your inventory, and doesn't drop them unless you code otherwise via a plugin. If you start the bot with an item on the cursor, you'll see this functionality: "[ClearCursorTask] The item XXX needs to be placed into the inventory."

Make sure you didn't happen to use the Path of Exile "swap weapons" button by accident and you're gear is on the other weapon slot. Otherwise, I'm not sure what happened to your stuff, but there's nothing coded in the bot implementation we provide that would cause what you are describing.

Please attach a full log from the bot session that it happened on, or all your logs if you're unsure, and we can take a look to try and see if you were using any community plugins that might have resulted in that. However, the stock EB is not setup to do that, and you have to really go out of your way to make it do those things.
 
You can actually close this, I feel like a retard and jumped to conclusions before checking all the outcomes. I had 2 very similar bows, I thought I checked the 2nd one but the tab never switched. I assume I changed weapons accidentally somehow as the gems are still intact.

It's OK, we all make mistakes, except for my Asian Mother(Inside Joke).
That aside, glad you got it fixed.
