Bot + Phone, Turn of WIFI Location Method on phone or you will be banned

Hi All,

I'm 99% sure I've found a cause of banning.

I've got many accounts that have been botted to 25+ and periodically they were getting banned after playing on my cellphone. I can replicate the banning now across multiple accounts. One phone was getting banned, the other not. When I checked my settings I was able to get banned on both phones and now neither...

I have a second phone where I've disabled WIFI accuracy for GPS and it does not appear to be getting the accounts banned at all.

I realised that if I was in RANGE, (Connected doesn't matter) to my WiFi which I've used to bot (home and work) with GPS ON I would be banned generally within 24hrs, sometimes faster.

This makes sense too because all the botting and GPS spoofing is breaking google's location accuracy. I imagine they would be pretty pissed. I find now when im in doors with no GPS and I am using WIFI accuracy (bad idea if you want to keep your account) I'm getting teleported to odd places where I used to bot...

so basically if i turn off location services .. and log into my account with teh message at top saying "Gps location not found" the game doesent know where i am so doesent detect me moving?
 
i still copped 2 bans doing this because i think it is all the achievements coming up at once flags your account for a ban .all accounts that i did not login on phones are not banned .

thats why i want to login on phone every few hours so u can collect the achievements before they mount up so if i login every few hours ill only have 2 or 3 acheivments pop up and hoping that will bypass them seeing 100s pop up and auto ban
 
Since i now only Bot withm 20 km of my Home i dont care and my Bot is still alive and kicking now 6 Days!

how do you disable wifi accuracy for GPS on iphone?
 
I had a 20+ local only account using the safest possible config, that was banned.
Only difference between this and my current account is that i was using my phone with gps turned on to mass evolve/transfer/accept on the account that got banned.
I dont login on my phone or ipad anymore unless the gps/location services are turned off.
 
how do you solve the problem.. i have never logged into a device so i log on my cell with gps etc turned off.. "gps location not found" but as i didnt create the account on a cell/teblet it instantly asks me to catch a start pokemon .. which i cannot do as i have gps disabled

I have done this. I turned GPS off on my phone and connected to my wifi to get medals and awards. next time I log in, I am gonna see if maybe I can grab a couple medals, log out or close the progam, then reboot and bot a little, rinse repeat. I havent had any account banned yet (knocking on wood)
 
Maybe but I've had accounts banned where I never logged into my phone. So while this may cause bans, not doing this doesn't avoid a ban. I took precautions and set it up using what some people here and on discord where saying was safe. Not upset in anyway not even botting atm just waiting it out but worth pointing out.
 
So basically we cannot turn on our GPS if we do not want to be banned. Then I don't know exactly the point of botting now if we do not get to play it on phones eventually when finished botting. Or we just keep endlessly and purposelessly botting til the end of the world?
 
Isn't pokefarmer using the same custom API as every other bot in existance? Detected :P Just a matter of time before all of the botted accounts get hit.
